Ok, that is definitely my workflow the problem ! The skills you learn by drawing automation for panning will translate for drawing automation (and modulation, and MIDI CC) for anything, while the note properties in FL are only for FL's own stuff (and only for FL instruments, while automation can used for Audio FX, MIDI FX, M4L and even for other stuff like BPM). I don't see how setting parameters per note is any faster than drawing automation per note (which is super fast to do in Live), especially when you have to draw automation in FL for VSTs too. MIDI doesn't have "note panning", that is a proprietary FL thing, it doesn't even work with VSTs. The Music Producers Ultimate Guide to FL Studio 20.
